Mapping V85 TT?

I'm excited to start tinkering on my V85 TT to get that smooth ride across the entire rev range.
Specifically, I'm curious if I can smooth out that full-throttle hesitation around the 4,000 to 5,800 RPM mark.
If anyone here has experimented with different maps, maybe from other 8V models, please share your experience and advice!

I've heard some folks had luck with GuzziDiag and tweaking maps from the Norge or Griso

You could try tweaking the ECU map or adding a fuel management system to smooth out that hesitation, experimenting with other 8V maps might help too

What year? Pre E5+ (2024) upmap works really well. With E5+ '24+ there is currently mistral's v twin boost upmap are working on their upgrade. The freeware sw, guzzidiag, won't work with 5 and on as far as I'm aware due to changing to a canbus system.

I feel you on that flat spot. There was a time mine felt like it's got an issue around there too. Maybe you could try to swap a custom map. For me when I did that, the throttle response got way smoother. Worth every penny if you want that smooth pull.

I know a guy who went with an UpMap T800+ device from GCorse.
He said what he really likes is that he could flash maps directly to his ECU.
You might also find specific maps tailored for bikes with aftermarket exhaust systems like Mistral or Arrow headers that can further improve things.

I've been curious about UpMap lately. Did your friend say how smooth the flashing process was? And do the maps update automatically or do you need to reflash after any bike mods?
