Tracking down the brake light wire

Trying to clean up some wiring on my Guzzi and I'm hunting down the brake light wire, specifically the one that runs from the switch to the rear light, anyone know the color code offhand or have a good spot to tap in without tearing everything apart?
The bike is older, so diagrams aren't always the most helpful

On older Guzzis, the brake light wire's usually yellow or orange, sometimes with a stripe. A good tap point's near the rear fender or under the seat, you can use a test light to confirm.

Or you can use a multimeter and I think it's the safest choice. Turn on the ignition and start probing the wires at the brake switch. One should have a constant voltage to it and the other should have voltage only when the brake is pressed, which is the wire you're looking for.
